We, by choosing to love and follow Jesus, are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live our lives as Jesus would want us to. This means loving each other and caring how each other is doing. Not just because we should, but with an intense desire to truly see those around you succeed and do well.
By following the Holy Spirit's leading, our souls will be purified. I'm honestly not sure what to think about that. I know that Jesus cleansed us of our sin when we ask for forgiveness. So it is not just a matter of asking for forgiveness but living as God wants us to live too. We are human and not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. However I am sure that God will gladly keep taking us back if we are sincere in our love for Him. Then the Holy Spirit can work more wondrously in our lives.
