I love how this book ends. It is so beautiful. It basically says to let Christians do good works and help those in extreme circumstances. That those kinds of works, helping others, will not be unfruitful that way. The emphasis is on the people who are doing the good works. The emphasis is also on meeting the needs of others. Basically, humans need to help other humans. Isn't this what love is? Caring for others? Isn't that was Jesus did for us? Cared for us, even to the point of giving His life to save ours?
Then it closes with loving in the faith and greeting fellow Christians who are also in the faith. The closing blessing is grace to them. So I shall do for you. May God's grace be with you.
This is a place where I am study God's Word for myself. I am a bit of a historian so also including some research into the culture of the times and people that I come across as I read the Bible will be here too. This is just a way for me to share what I learn with others as well as feel like I am being held accountable for keeping up with my devotions. I am lazy by nature and need that small check and balance.
