"but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior:"
Something that is pretty neat here is that God finds ways to let us know more about Him and what He wants for us. In this case, God used Paul's ministry to teach and share His Truth. God gives people gifts. In the case of Paul, it was the gift of preaching. Paul used that God-given gift as God meant for us to do with our gifts and gave everything he had.
What in your life do you spend the most time doing? Is it doing a service others in some form or another? Or are you focused on entertaining yourself.
This is a place where I am study God's Word for myself. I am a bit of a historian so also including some research into the culture of the times and people that I come across as I read the Bible will be here too. This is just a way for me to share what I learn with others as well as feel like I am being held accountable for keeping up with my devotions. I am lazy by nature and need that small check and balance.
